My mom was an extremely creative person. These wonderful paintings are an amazing representation of her work in that medium. She always had an art-related project going of one sort or another. If she wasn't painting on canvas, she was racing through a needlepoint, knitting a scarf or sweater or crocheting a blanket, if not one of those she was scouring flea markets and galleries with my father for that next special piece to add to a wall or corner of Wolverine Street or Fairway Drive. Each piece hung ever so perfectly or artfully situated as part of one of her collections. My mom never needed an interior decorator, though she was always happy to lend her opinion on style. She was always quick to dive right in and help with one of our school projects too. If you needed a costume or diorama, she was there! I miss her every day but can always see through her eyes through her art. Thanks Zach for pulling this homage together.
